Bridgeport, CT – July 22, 2015 – Jon Angel, President Angel Commercial LLC, a Southport-based commercial real estate brokerage firm, announces the sale of 2.044 acres of industrial land located at 2135 Commerce Drive, Bridgeport and 1 & 5 Commerce Drive, Fairfield, CT (aka 1 Commerce Drive, Fairfield) for $2.65 million to One Commerce Drive, LLC, operating as Land Rover and Jaguar.

This parcel is the final remaining acreage of the former Connecticut Limo site. The purchase will relocate Land Rover of Milford to a new 18,752 SF sales and service facility, designed by Phil Cerrone, Architect. In addition to Land Rover inventory, the new premises will cater to the sales and service of Jaguar vehicles and be called Jaguar Land Rover Centre.

Over the past decade, Commerce Drive has been redeveloped into an automotive dealership destination. Land Rover and Jaguar will join Audi, Porsche, and Infiniti, Mercedes and the planned Hyundai dealerships, strengthening the street as an automotive retail hub.

Ryan Ambrifi, Centre Manager Land Rover Milford, comments, “The combined market expertise of both Jon Angel and Tommy Febbraio of Coldwell Banker, helped us maximize visibility and find the ideal location for our Jaguar Land Rover Centre”.

“The town planning and zoning application to develop the property was unique since the land is located within the municipalities of both Bridgeport and Fairfield and required individual approvals. Attorney David Quatrella represented the applicant to make this plan a reality and also led the previous effort to sell and develop the adjacent parcel into a six-story, 127,000 SF self-storage facility that opened last year”, comments Angel.

The seller, CLS Bridgeport, LLC was represented by Angel Commercial.
