Former Stratfield Market Property Sells to Developer – Bringing New Preschool to Fairfield
FAIRFIELD, CT – January 28, 2019 — The former Stratfield Market building at 1280 Stratfield Road in Fairfield, CT, has sold to Summit Development LLC for $1,450,000 announced Brett A. Sherman, CCIM, Senior Vice President of Southport-based Angel Commercial, LLC. The building has been vacant since 2006 when the Stratfield Market closed after being in business for over 50 years. Summit Development plans to redevelop the building for their new tenant, The Goddard School, a preschool franchise that will be opening in the fall of this year.
The 9,612 SF two-story commercial building is on 0.90 acres of land in the Stratfield Section of Fairfield, CT. It is at four-way signalized intersection on the corner of Stratfield Road and Fairfield Woods Road.
